Eco-Trips

Future4Leopards Foundation offers guided eco-trips into a number of leopard reserves. Members of neighbouring rural communities are invited to come and experience nature and the outdoors in the reserves with an informed educator or guide.
At Tandoureh National Park for example, in a program partnered with the Ministry of Education, qualified educators take groups out on educational and memorable trips through the beautiful natural surroundings of the park in a bus. They visit Tandoureh’s central museum and go on a short excursion into the leopard area, where they may catch a glimpse of one of the several animals we have fitted with GPS satellite collars to explore their ranging behaviour.
Trip themes are varied and tailored to meet curriculum requirements as well as any particular purposes the school or teacher may have in mind. Eco-trips are free of charge for the schoolchildren of these local rural communities.
