On 3 March 2020, as the World Wildlife Day, a webinar was organized by Future4Leopards Foundation, for Iranian early career conservationists and biologists. The webinar, signed up by 200 people, aimed to increase the technical capacity of Iranian conservation biologists for efficient tackling of conservation problems.
During the webinar, five key actions which conservation biologists usually do wrongly were discussed, possible ways to engage public in conservation agenda using social media were addressed and multiple solutions to avoid common mistakes in conservation biology were briefed.
Encouraged by numerous requests, the webinar, perhaps the first of its own in Iran for conservation biology, will be repeated due to broad applicability for early career biologists in Iran.
