New Pallas’s cat album

pallas's cat

Pallas’s cats are one of the least known smaller cats of the Middle East. They are also one of the most difficult cats to see in the wild. Thanks to the advanced camera trap equipment we are now using, they have been photographed quite a few times during our ongoing camera trap surveys in different areas of northeastern Iran. So we are thrilled to share with you two sources of knowledge and joy that we have been more than lucky to produce. First, you can read our recent Pallas’s cat national status assessment just published in IUCN Cat News. Then, enjoy an album newly added to our wealth of photo albums which covers just some of the recent Pallas’s cat images taken in northeast Iran. The camera traps used to obtain these stunning images of such an elusive cat were provided by Panthera and Edinburgh Zoo. Stay tuned for more special albums which will be uploaded in coming weeks.
